Pioli overhauls squad for Milan vs Juventus

Stefano Pioli is making four formation changes for AC Milan vs Juventus. The Rossoneri host Allegri’s side at San Siro today.

AC Milan turn their attention to the league after the disappointing European display against Chelsea. AC Milan vs Juventus will be the main event of the ninth round of Serie A. The Red and Blacks will hos Juventus at San Siro, today at 18:00 CET. Both clubs are in the middle of a difficult moment but for different reasons.

Stefano Pioli’s squad has been plagued by injuries while Allegri’s side have underwhelmed so far concerning results. Just like against Chelsea, the choices of Stefano Pioli are extremely limited for Milan vs Juventus. The only good news is the return of Theo Hernandez in the starting eleven. Pioli has decided to move Pierre Kalulu on the right with Matteo Gabbia playing in the center alongside Tomori.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer had a very disappointing performance in England but Pioli has full faith in both. The two will once again start from the first minute in midfield while there will be surprising changes in attack.

It will not be Krunic to start on the right wing but rather Tommaso Pobega. Probably the squad will transform in 4-3-2-1 during the match. The Italian coach will also drop Charles De Ketelaere in favor of Brahim Diaz reports Sky Sport. Rafael Leao is untouchable on the left wing while Olivier Giroud will once again lead the attack.

AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu, Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Tonali, Bennacer, Pobega, Brahim Diaz, Leao, Giroud.

JUVENTUS Probable XI (4-4-2): Szczesny, Danilo, Bonucci, Bremer, Alex Sandro, Cuadrado, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic, Vlahovic, Milik.
